From compact commuters to executive flagships, sedans range from roughly 200 miles per charge to well over 400 miles on premium models. The low, wide battery gives sedans a planted feel and quick steering response. Consider trunk shape and passenger space if you regularly carry adults in the rear, and check whether the model includes heat-pump climate control — it matters materially for cold-weather range. DC fast charging speeds vary from 100 kW on older platforms to 250+ kW on the latest 800-volt architectures.
